/Hello Saturday! After a long week of school at the Institute & some work, it is a great thing to have a thing called the weekend. Especially if you happen to be here in Berlin. My saturday included arts & culture, eating out & a little shopping at Muji for ecobrands. I shop really seldom & actually hate the idea altogerher and therefore go mostly for vintage in Paris, New York & Berlin. However, I recently lost my tube scarf, it is absolutely freezing here, and Muji's clothes are just so good quality so I guess I can afford a few. And they are made from ecological fabric, too. Although no clothe is as ecological as vintage.
Went to see a Chinese indie film later with my great friends & colleagues A&S, who live here. It was a tiny cinema called Lichtblick-Kino at kastanienallee 77 showing mostly alternative filma. "A Touch of Sin" by Jia Zhang-Ke was special, a very dark & rough movie about post-industrial reality in Rural, Southern China, but perhaps a little too sketch-like. Zhang-Ke has won e.g. the Golden Lion for his previous work. On thursday I went to see Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street at Kino Central at Hackescher Markt. By far the best film by the director who is not my all-time favorite. I recommend it.
